In November 2007, XI responded to the drilling industry's need to enhance research tools: better access to well tour information. A wealth of knowledge is trapped in the paper copies of these tour files, and XI has created the solution that unleashes this information in a digitized format.

Knowing how wells are drilled, what products were used, and what strategies are being applied to the wells drilled around you is a necessary component to responsible, efficient drilling practices.

The TourXchange is a collaborative effort pioneered by XI, bringing participating operators together to make what is already public information, digitally available. TourXchange participants now have access to over 40,000 XI Tour Reports. This Excel-based product allows you to easily navigate through all information available on a particular well.
