PoolBook
The PoolBook was designed to assist companies in identifying opportunities in pools and zones by providing an overview of the production and ownership, broken down by pool.
Containing public data on over 40,000 oil and gas pools in Western Canada, this database is amalgamated in an ambitious project. Proprietary compilation techniques were developed to allow the data to be presented in a logical and meaningful way for our clients.
Some of the information in the PoolBook includes:
- 1. Production details
- 2. Pool reserves - both government values and XI calculated
- 3. Injection values
- 4. Rock volume, pay, porosity and initial pressure
- 5. Detailed information for more than 150,000 wells
Once the data has been consolidated, it is presented in a series of Excel spreadsheets, providing our clients with an exceptionally fast, powerful and user-friendly, research tool. The examples below are just a few of the ways to find opportunities.
- 1. Filter by Pool, Region or Strike to establish totals in those areas
- 2. Search by your criteria to find analogous pools
- 3. Identify trends with pool reserve sizes, well reserves and initial rates by using our probability distribution
- graphs
- 4. Perform reserve estimates for new pools using the Reserve Book feature that can be automatically
- populated from the PoolBook
